Privacy policy.

Astra Studios Photography respects client privacy. This policy explains what information our inquiry website processes, who may handle it, and how to contact us. It applies to astrastudiosphotography.com.

Information we collect

When you request a quote, we collect your name, email, telephone number, preferred session date and time, requested package, and any location, occasion, contact preferences or messages you voluntarily provide. We also record when the request was submitted, which client terms version you acknowledged, and whether you want to discuss a possible portfolio release. Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to answer questions, prepare personalized quotes, discuss availability, coordinate bookings and photographic delivery, maintain business and payment records when applicable, and prevent spam and abuse. Sending an inquiry does not result in a confirmed booking or payment.

Storage and service providers

Inquiry records are stored in a secured Cloudflare D1 database. Existing and backup records may also be held in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Cloudflare provides site hosting and security. Apple iCloud Mail handles customer communications sent manually from our business addresses. We do not send automated marketing or booking emails. We do not sell inquiry information or use it for targeted advertising.

Access, security and retention

Access to the private owner dashboard is restricted using Cloudflare Access. Security systems may process connection details and create hashed network identifiers to limit repeat submissions. We retain inquiry, final quotation acceptance references, booking, expense and payment records as reasonably needed for customer service, legal, accounting and recordkeeping obligations, and delete or anonymize them when no longer required. Encrypted or private backups of database records may be kept temporarily for recovery, with a planned rolling window of eight weekly database exports; original client photographs are not included in those routine database exports. No website security method can guarantee absolute security.

Photography and permission to publish

Clients receive the photo services stated in their package. We may wish to display selected portraits on our website or social channels, but we will obtain a separate, specific written model/portfolio release before using identifiable photographs for marketing. For a child, appropriate consent must come from their parent or legal guardian. Indicating interest on the inquiry form is not a model release. Declining publicity does not prevent booking a session.

Cookies and external services

The public site does not intentionally use advertising trackers. Cloudflare and authentication services may use essential security cookies and technical logs. Portfolio images are delivered using our hosting infrastructure. Our site currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive technical connection data when your browser retrieves the fonts. Links to external websites are governed by their own policies.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us to correct or delete inquiry information or ask about how it is used, subject to applicable record-retention duties. You may also request that we stop a proposed photo publication or review a signed release before use. Contact inquiries@astrastudiosphotography.com or call 347-669-5835. Policy updates

We may update this page as our services change. The effective date at the top indicates the most recent version. Material changes affecting a confirmed booking will be addressed through the applicable written agreement.
